Meet Andre Manzyuk – Our Founder
Andre Manzyuk, the founder of ManzCPA, brings a remarkable journey and a wealth of experience to our firm. Born in Ukraine and raised in the vibrant community of Sacramento, CA, within a family of six siblings, Andre’s values of hard work, determination, and community have always been the cornerstones of his success.
Education and Early Career
Andre’s journey in accounting and finance began with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, focusing on Accounting and Finance, from Fresno Pacific University. After college, he embarked on a career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), one of the prestigious Big Four accounting firms. During his time at PwC, Andre worked with a diverse clientele, including non-profit foundations, state universities, tech startups, and large publicly traded companies. Remarkably, he obtained his CPA license within just two years of graduating while working full-time at PwC.
Gaining Valuable Experience
Andre’s career saw him working in various PwC offices across the United States. However, it was his time at the Dallas, TX location that left a significant impact on his professional growth, equipping him with invaluable leadership skills and experiences.
Technical Accounting Expertise
Transitioning to Ernst & Young (EY) in Roseville, CA, Andre further honed his expertise, particularly in technical accounting. He played a vital role in guiding organizations through complex financial matters, such as the implementation of ASC 606, Revenue from Contracts with Customers, and contributed to over a dozen acquisition and debt offering transactions.
A Passion for Smaller Businesses
Despite his successful career in the Big Four and large corporations, Andre discovered his true passion: working closely with smaller businesses in his community. The unique challenges faced by these entrepreneurs resonated with him, and he found immense fulfillment in providing efficient and effective financial and tax solutions.
